Overview

Participated in the 13th Tsinghua Economic Hotspot Analysis Competition (July – October 2023), a nationally recognized competition organized by Tsinghua University. Our team achieved a Top 1% ranking among all participating teams nationwide.

Research Topic

AI-Enabled Coal Mining Transformation: Addressing labor shortages and safety issues in the coal mining industry through artificial intelligence.

Methodology & Contributions

Quantitative Modeling

• Built a Cobb-Douglas production function model analyzing data from 2000 to 2022
• Revealed a 23.6% increase in technology contribution rate to coal mining productivity
• Provided empirical evidence for the economic value of AI adoption in traditional industries

Field Research

• Conducted on-site research at 6 coal mining enterprises
• Mapped AI applications across 12 operational scenarios
• Gathered first-hand data on implementation challenges and opportunities
